We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to support our DEPOT operations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in day to day hydraulic hose making , shipping and receiving, and maintaining efficient workflow within the depot environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with counter experience and mechanical knowledge to develop their skills further in a dynamic setting.
Duties
Assist with making hoses up and creating invoices .
Support warehouse management system (WMS) operations to track inventory and stock movements
Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring accurate documentation and proper packaging
Organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation and safety standards
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, including machinery , and report any maintenance needs
Assist with construction-related tasks as required, including materials organisation and site preparation
Handle heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating deliveries and pickups
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills
Proven experience with customer service role
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge relevant to depot equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience in mechanical solving or related fields is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload processes
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
