Job Description

Lansdown Health Store is looking for a part-time sales assistant to join their friendly team at their health food shop in Lewes, for 3-4 days a week (18-24 hours pw) including a fair rotation of Saturday shifts with other staff.

Duties

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Assist with inventory management - orders and deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies

Requirements

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Proficient computer skills would be an advantage
