Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to increase sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist in supervising team members when necessary, ensuring store standards are met Follow phone etiquette protocols when handling customer calls and inquiries Support store cleanliness and organization to ensure a welcoming shopping environment

Requirements

Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or similar stores Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (preferred) Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math skills Ability to perform upselling and product demonstrations effectively Experience with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Supervising experience is a plus but not required Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings
