About the Role:
We're on the look out for a passionate Store Manager for our flagship Evesham store. This role will take the lead in creating a warm, welcoming space that people love returning to. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the shop, cafe, and workshop/events calendar, support and develop a brilliant team, and help us continue to grow as a creative hub in the community. You will be responsible for driving sales, and working to a budget set by the business.
We are currently on the look out for a temporary Store Manager, for a 3-4 month contract - this would have the potential to move to permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading, supporting, and motivating a retail & creative team.
Harnessing community within our store.
Handling customer queries, feedback, and customer needs with care.
Building relationships with regular customers, workshop hosts, and local makers.
Managing daily store and cafe operations, ensuring smooth service.
Maintaining a clean, inviting, beautifully presented space.
Overseeing visual merchandising, product displays, and seasonal themes - in line with company campaigns set by Marketing.
Supporting cafe staff when needed.
Stock administration for cafe, where needed.
Planning and coordinating workshops, craft clubs, and in-store shopping events.
Working with local artists, teachers, and small businesses.
Helping to promote events through in-store signage and online channels.
Creating an uplifting, inclusive & approachable environment for all skill levels.
Managing store stock (both CC stock & third-party brands).
Managing & nurturing supplier relationships with third party brands.
Monitoring waste, inventory, and cafe supplies.
Monitoring & managing Health & Safety, and food hygiene standards in cafe.
Support budgeting, cash handling, reporting, and sales targets.
Tracking workshop bookings, event revenues & margins.
Person Specification:
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years previous experience in a managerial retail role is required.
Experience of managing a cafe would be preferred but not required.
Food hygiene and safety training would be advantageous, but also not required.
Skills & Abilities:

Able to drive sales and think creatively about how we shape events and drive footfall to store.
