Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking
Store Cleaner
to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our SPAR convenience shop. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for customers and staff.Hours:
Preferred hours are6pm-8pm
onMonday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
, though specific times can be discussed further at interview.Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize store areas including shop floor, shelving, counters, and customer touchpoints. Sweep, mop and vacuum floors. Clean staff areas including back rooms, office space and restrooms. Empty bins and manage waste disposal following store procedures. Re-stock cleaning materials as required and report any shortages. Follow health, safety and hygiene guidelines at all times. Ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within the designated hours.
About You
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a friendly store environment.
