The Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our flagship Horsham showroom. This is a high-profile position where you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy and complex store environment, manage a large seasonal display, and lead a dedicated team of outdoor enthusiasts.

As Store Manager, you will be accountable for delivering commercial results, maintaining first-class merchandising standards, and ensuring a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for daily store operations and performance Motivate and lead a team to meet and exceed sales and customer service goals Build and maintain staff rotas to ensure efficient cover and customer support Ensure excellent standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness and product presentation both in-store and outdoors Oversee and maintain the tent showroom, ensuring displays are the best in the sector and also safe, functional, and attractive to customers Lead on customer service--resolving queries and complaints with professionalism Work with the ecommerce and purchasing teams to manage stock levels and deliveries for effective sell-through Deliver regular retail events on site to a set marketing calendar and proactively source and secure third party concessions spot revenue from food outlets and adjacent trades Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring high engagement and capability Set and monitor KPIs and drive commercial performance with seasonal promotions and events Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security and company policies

What We're Looking For

Proven experience managing a busy retail store, ideally in outdoor, leisure or destination retail Strong leadership and team-building skills A passion for outdoor products and an understanding of customer needs in camping and caravanning Commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset Excellent organisational and communication skills Willingness to work weekends and adapt to seasonal business needs Comfortable working both indoors and outside in all weather
