Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring store performance, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve store goals. Maintain high standards of customer service by training staff on proper phone etiquette and communication skills. Oversee inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed. Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Organise staff schedules to optimise productivity while managing time effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. Proficient time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of store operations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the capability to handle challenging situations. Previous experience in a food retail environment or supermarket would be advantageous however not essential. Start time and finish times are variable depending on the needs of the business covering shifts in other stores / locations may be required therefore we would require applicants to have a full uk driving licence.

Pay: 29,000.00-34,900.00 per year
