Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that the store meets its financial goals while providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, inventory management, and customer service. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through effective training and mentoring. Implement merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales. Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports for management to track performance against targets. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations. Manage staff schedules to optimise productivity while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Foster a positive shopping environment by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain stock levels and minimise shrinkage. Develop and execute "Manager's Specials" ad hoc promotional opportunities / residual stock

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Proven retail management skills with a focus on sales management and achieving targets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in merchandising to enhance product presentation and drive sales. Administrative experience that supports efficient store operations.
