Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Welcome co-op franchise retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales performance, and ensuring that the store meets its operational goals.

Responsibilities

Manage daily store operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer experiences. Organise staff schedules and manage time effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Communicate effectively with team members and provide training to enhance their skills in sales management and customer engagement. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and manage product displays to optimise sales opportunities. Implement promotional strategies to increase footfall and drive sales within the store. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment that reflects brand standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient operation of the store. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
