Job description
We are looking for a highly responsible candidate with good people skills for the position of Store Supervisor. This role involves working in a busy club store and the candidate will be expected to work on
all
match days and events as well as the days listed above. Your aim will be to go above and beyond customer expectations ensuring that all spectators have a world class experience time and time again. .
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily opening and closing of the retail stores in line with company trading times (these may vary at times of peak trading)
Lead retail staff in the daily duties and ensure they are up to date and knowledgeable with relevant activity and promotions
Lead/motivate retail staff to meet and exceed sales targets
Ensure the team are proactively upselling products such as cash desk offers, complimentary items and where applicable outfit building
Carry out the merchandising plan created by the Retail Area Manager & Retail Operations Manager to maximise sales opportunities
To ensure that the replenishment order and deliveries generated from head office for multi-sites are correctly booked into stock and placed accordingly for trade
To ensure that our stores are stocked, tidy and ready in advance for match day trade
Ensure all cash reconciliation in the retail area is checked and accurate and along with accounts, deal with any discrepancies
Maintain till floats, manage change and efficient management of the safe contents
Follow accurately the daily banking procedures and collections (if applicable)
To ensure that all stock levels are correct and accounted for during stocktakes
To ensure daily staff attendance levels are appropriate during key hours of trade/staff breaks cover and arrange extra cover if needed
Plan rotas, submit payroll.
Meet and greet customers to the store upon entering
Ensure customer service is kept to a high standard
Regularly check emails and communications from head office
Develop a full understanding of the operation of the till epos system and handling multiple methods of payments
Handle returns from customers and exchange merchandise where relevant
Maintain effective stock room controls and ensure stock supply to the sales floor is maintained accurately
Contribute to the general tidiness and cleanliness of all retail areas at front and back of house
Protect the retail department against theft by providing excellent customer service as a deterrent to suspicious characters.
To carry out all other reasonable tasks as required within the department
To be involved in promotion and logistics for retail events and product launches
Suitable candidates will be interviewed as and when they apply, the role will be shut down as soon as a suitable candidate has been sourced.

Pay: 12.80 per hour
