Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff when required, and ensuring that any sales targets are met while maintaining a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise retail staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues effectively. Organise daily tasks and schedules for yourself and team members, to optimise productivity, when required. Conduct training sessions for new employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies. Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively. Handle administrative duties such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and reviewing product sales data. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages communication and teamwork among staff members and other estate departments.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Proficiency in time management to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality of service. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
