Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations and lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your organisational talents and leadership qualities to drive sales and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing merchandising displays/stock, opening and closing the store and maintaining operational standards across the store.

Duties



Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficient store operations Oversee merchandising activities, including stock replenishment and visual displays, to maximise sales potential Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with Head Office as necessary Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and store policies at all times Support recruitment, training programmes, and staff development initiatives Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staffing, and stock management

Skills



Proven supervisor experience within a retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock control Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous Proficient in sales management techniques and customer service excellence Sound understanding of retail management systems and administrative procedures Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently through effective time management Outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Demonstrated organisational ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year
