We're looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. While this role sits within our butchery concession, you don't need to be a trained butcher. What matters most is strong retail experience, confidence in leading a team, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly.
If you thrive in a fast?paced environment, enjoy engaging with customers, and take pride in creating an exceptional in?store experience, you'll feel right at home. You'll support our Butchery Manager with day?to?day supervision, team coordination, and essential administrative tasks, helping to ensure the concession operates efficiently and professionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow, learn new skills, and develop their understanding of butchery while bringing their retail expertise to a dynamic and customer?focused environment.
Responsibilities
Support the Butchery Manager with the daily supervision of the team and overall concession operations.
Drive customer service excellence across the counter, ensuring high standards of presentation, product quality, and store appearance.
Assist with stock control, digital ordering, inventory checks, and general operational processes.
Coordinate daily staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate cover and smooth service.
Perform administrative tasks, including reporting, compliance checks, and supporting operational procedures.
Learn and develop basic butchery skills over time, such as trimming or preparing simple cuts, with full training provided.
Support the preparation of added?value products (e.g., marinades, kebabs, pre?seasoned items) as skills develop.
Requirements
Strong retail experience with a proven track record of supervising or leading a team.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering a great in?store experience.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast?paced environment with competing priorities.
Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Comfortable using computers and modern retail systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable.
Previous experience with meat, food production, or basic butchery skills is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
If you possess these skills and are eager to contribute to our new team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
