Job Overview


We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As well as antiques and collectibles, our Centres offer a stylish range of contemporary furniture, home accessories, clothing and gifts. These, along with our Restaurant and Food Hall, make us a unique attraction to visit.

As a Retail Supervisor within our Abernyte Centre you will work alongside our team on the shop floor and provide an important point of contact for colleagues, customers and dealers. One of your principal responsibilities will be the allocation of units and cabinets to dealers who wish to trade from the Centre. Ultimately you will help the management team to ensure that the Centre runs smoothly and efficiently.

Pay will be negotiated on experience and your own transport will be required due to our location. Weekend work is required on a rota basis.

What will you do?



Work Closely with the Centre management team and assist with overseeing daily store operations including opening and closing routines. Represent the Company to dealers and work with them to maximise sales. Allocate units and cabinets to dealers as they become available, ensuring that quality and mix are maintained. Promote the Centre to prospective dealers. Ensure high levels of customer service through excellent sales service. Liaise with dealers to ensure stands and cabinets are well-stocked and licence terms are adhered to. Create and nurture long-term relationships with colleagues, customers and dealers alike. Handle customer and dealer enquiries, complaints and returns professionally and efficiently. Administrative tasks will include the payout of fortnightly sales to dealers, cashing up tills and banking etc. Maintain accurate dealer information, inputting invoices into Sage and ensuring that computerised records are kept up to date. Assist with training and managing staff, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with all other teams in the Centre to grow sales and promote the Centre. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations and keep necessary logs. Organise and keep up to date records for insurance and security.

Skills

A customer focused manner, prioritising the customer experience at all times. A moderate knowledge of Excel, Word and Sage. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills. Friendly and approachable manner. A desire to genuinely get to know our customers and dealers, building strong relationships and going the "extra mile" when required.
