Role Overview



We are looking for a confident and motivated

Retail Team Lead & Community Events Coordinator

to take ownership of daily store operations while supporting the planning and delivery of community events. This role is primarily retail-focused, ensuring our Cabot Circus store runs smoothly, delivers exceptional customer service, and achieves strong commercial results.

Alongside your retail leadership responsibilities, you will help deliver in-store activations and local partnerships that bring our community together and strengthen our brand's presence in the area.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role, balancing hands-on retail management with involvement in creative, community-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Retail Leadership & Store Operations



Act as shift lead, managing the sales assistant team to ensure smooth daily operations. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers receive a welcoming, brand-aligned shopping experience. Motivate and coach the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs (conversion, ATV, UPT, etc.). Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting. Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation in line with brand guidelines. Manage stock replenishment, deliveries, and inventory accuracy. Foster a positive and productive team culture, with high staff morale and strong communication.

Community Events & Engagement



Support the planning and delivery of in-store community events, product launches, and brand activations. Assist with logistics, staffing, and execution to ensure events run smoothly. Strengthen community ties by engaging with local customers, groups, and partners. Gather insights and feedback from community events to help shape future initiatives.

Strategic & Operational Support



Translate company strategy into clear, actionable retail and community event plans. Track and report on sales, customer experience, and event performance. Identify opportunities for improvement in both retail operations and community engagement. Uphold health & safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

What We're Looking For



Previous retail and customer-facing experience (essential). Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team. Confidence in driving sales and achieving KPIs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance retail priorities alongside community event support. Excellent communication and confident decision-making. A sharp eye for detail in customer service and visual merchandising. Adaptable, calm, and solution-focused under pressure. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as part of a 40-hour schedule. A genuine passion for fashion, youth culture, and community connection.

Desirable



Experience supporting or coordinating community events. Familiarity with scheduling software, POS systems, and inventory tools. Interest in career growth within a scaling business.
