Job Description

If you're great with people and have a talent for making the most of our retail potential, we're looking for a Retail Team Leader in the National Trust Garden Centre at Morden. This role is well suited to someone that loves plants and has a keen interest in gardening. In this role you can help everyone to have an enjoyable and memorable day.


This is a full-time role, working 37.5hrs per week, including alternate weekend working

. Typically, you'll be working from 9am - 5:15pm per day.


For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a CV or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.


Interviews will be held w/c 16th June 2025 at Morden Hall

What you'll be doing:This role is predominantly based outdoors, so you'll be working outside in all weathers, and it may be physically demanding & includes alternate weekend working.


You'll help to manage the plant sales area, you'll help monitor stock and assist the outdoor team with supporting our visitors and merchandising plants and outdoor retail products. You'll lead by example when it comes to focusing on income and profitability, which help to fund the National Trust's vital conservation work.


Reporting to the Plant Department Manager, you'll be supervising staff and volunteers in the outdoor department and working alongside colleagues in other departments to give the best possible service to everyone who visits.
