Job Description

Life Charity are seeking a reliable and friendly Van Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. We're open to conversations about the working pattern and would consider a self employed driver.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods and donations across various locations in the Central England. You will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide essential pregnancy support services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting a meaningful cause.

Main purposes of the job:

To provide a cost-effective logistical service to the retail service. Represent Life as an efficient and charitable organisation by ensuring that your actions reinforce Life's basis and values. The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Please note, the shops operate opening hours of 9-5. Some flexibility with start time would be required due to some restrictions around access to shops.

This role will be for 8 hours per week across 1 day (no weekends).

Qualifications

Full UK driver's license with a clean driving record Experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in driving and delivery
