We are seeking a hard working and motivated person to join our small friendly team in the position of Retail Van Team Operator (15 hours per week Monday and Tuesday)

The Trust provides essential care and support for people affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses across Hastings and Rother. We're looking for an individual who, as well as being used to a manual handling role, shares our vision of improving the lives of the many people affected by life threatening illness across the region.

This is an opportunity to join a small but highly skilled and ambitious team looking to continue our track record of growth. You'll be working with our inspiring supporters and volunteers on a daily basis.

You will play a key role in keeping our shops and donation centre thriving. From collecting donated goods and furniture and servicing our shops you'll help maximise revenue and ensure our shops are always stocked and ready to welcome customers. You'll carry out basic vehicle checks to keep everything running smoothly.

You must have a flexible and 'can do' approach with the ability to work on your own initiative. Able to manage daily lifting and manual handling on our Luton van and at our Donation Centre, the successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Committed to providing a high quality service and meeting performance targets; ultimately to enable us to provide essential care for local people.

This is a varied role and instrumental in developing new relationships within the local community.

As sharing van driving with other team members is a key part of this role a clean driving licence is required
