We have a unique opportunity available for a Visiting Scheme Manager to manage a leasehold retirement scheme at Primrose Park in Pensnett and visit two other leasehold retirement schemes at Gorstie Croft, Great Barr and Newman Place, Yardley once a week.
All three schemes offer independent living to adults over 55/60 in bungalows and flats.
You should be able to work on your own initiative and be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies who provide a service to older people. Effective communication skills are essential as is an ability to make decisions and solve problems.
This post is 28 hours per week Monday to Friday with 20 hours at Pensnett, four hours at Great Barr and four hours at Yardley.

About you
You should be able to cope well in emergencies and stay calm under pressure. This is essential as you will be expected to deal with any accidents and emergencies.
The post includes looking after the general welfare of residents and providing an effective link between GreenSquareAccord and the residents. You will also need to monitor the work of contractors on site, keep accurate records of site visits, resident`s details and petty cash and a competency in Microsoft Office is therefore essential.
We are looking for someone who is a friendly, approachable and likeable character. Although previous experience would be an advantage this role requires a kind-hearted person willing to engage with the residents and training can be given where necessary.
