Job Overview



To undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035, the specification for the energy retrofit of domestic buildings. You will be managing your own diary to book appointments, conduct on site assessments, analyse data to identify areas for improvement and prepare technical reports To provide administrative support to the delivery of projects. To maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients and residents To provide retrofit advice to support a householder's journey to a low carbon home To deliver retrofit focused home visits or surveys with minimal support. To provide support to Retrofit Coordinators in the management of the retrofit project. To support others to maintain appropriate client confidentiality at all times in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. To liaise with other staff in the RE:GEN team to ensure effective workload planning, project development and delivery. The postholder will work closely with immediate colleagues in the RE:GEN team, in particular the Sustainability Coordinators, and will develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with colleagues across RE:GEN. The postholder will follow established procedures and processes for completing retrofit assessments in line with RE:GEN methodologies.

Experience / Skills:



Current Retrofit Assessor qualification Prior Retrofit assessment experience essential Ability to take dimensions and produce floor plans of complex buildingsoDesirable: Ability to use software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings Mathematical skills to calculate dimensions (floor area, volume etc.) of buildings Good understanding of low carbon and energy efficiency technologies Have experience of energy efficiency retrofit Have an understanding of the impact of energy efficiency retrofit on residential properties, residents and communities Confident & Competent in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook Good interpersonal and strong communication skills Excellent writing and presentation skills Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Must be analytical and problem solving with enthusiasm to enhance, improve, optimise, streamline. A flexible, self motivating and agile attitude, allowing you to respond to client needs. Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills Build strong relationships with colleagues
