Main purpose of the role:
The Retrofit Coordinator will primarily work alongside our Retrofit Advisors, Retrofit Surveyors, and Head of ECO. The main tasks of the role are related to the coordination of design work for jobs as they advance
through project stages. This includes interacting with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow and
collation of design information, and to ensure the necessary statutory approvals and permissions are obtained.
The Retrofit Coordinator role will be focused on the residential/domestic sector of ECO and will be responsible
for helping to maximise the team's potential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage retrofit assessments and oversee the retrofit process from start to finish, ensuring all
projects are compliant to PAS2035 standards.
To create retrofit designs and associated documents for each dwelling or dwelling type within the retrofit project as part of the PAS 2035 process.
Coordination of PAS2035 compliant property surveys, assessments, and installs.
Regularly audit any project documents.
Be able to demonstrate strong project management skills and a sound understanding of residential projects, particularly in refurbishment.
At the project stages:
Lead the coordination of the design process.
Manage and prioritise workloads in line with set timelines and objectives.
Liaise with stakeholders and support staff, including retrofit assessors.
Ensure the design process takes account of current building regulations and relevant standards and best practices, and minimises potential liability for future stages/delivery.
Display awareness of legal matters related to domestic projects, including the Party Wall Act, Rights to
Light, Easements and Access issues and understanding of when to refer to specialists.
Display a thorough understanding of construction and building service types common in homes in the
UK. Including pre-1980s construction methods, heating, and ventilation.
Understand the entire fabric of a building, the ECO scoring methods/ratings and how to improve this using various methods.
Effectively manage all projects accurately and in a timely manner as set out by the business.
Ensure documentation of the project progress, including any information that is supplied by building owners and other retrofit stakeholders involved in the delivery of the project, is carried out.
Effectively communicate throughout the business to optimise results.
Ensure that the correct use of the company software and CRM system(s) is met and that any workflow processes are updated.
Provide the company with suggestions and updates to proactively encourage new development.
Keep abreast of any industry changes as and when they arise and communicate these with the team.
Attend other company meetings as required.
Respond to requests from Senior Management.

Effectively organise time and duties, and in line with job requirements.
Meet team and personal targets as set by the business.
Report on any opportunities and development ideas.
