Retrofit & DEA Trainer - 2 Vacancies - Northwest London & Birmingham



Starting salary 30,000 but negotiable depending on experience

ASK Retrofit-UK / Academy, are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching, developing skills and mentoring, to become part of their dedicated and committed team.

You will deliver high-quality training and assessments, to help learners achieve nationally recognised qualifications in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) and Retrofit practices, whilst ensuring all teaching and assessment activities meet industry and awarding body standards. Through technical knowledge and practical skills, you'll equip learners to confidently become professional Retrofit Assessors.

Key Responsibilities



Effective and engaging delivery of classroom training, in DEA and Retrofit practices. Support learners' progression through lesson plans, course material and resources. Assess learners' understanding and competence through observations and discussions. Monitor learners progress by maintaining accurate records. Provide constructive feedback to learners. Coach and mentor learners to help overcome areas that require further development and knowledge. Keep up to date with current Retrofit and DEA regulations, including PAS 2035/2038 requirements. Update training material accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and industry stakeholders to maintain high training standards. Adhere to and promote safe working practices in line with health and safety regulations.

Person Specification - Essential



Qualified and experienced Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and Retrofit Assessor. Comprehensive understanding of Retrofit standards, including PAS 2035/2038. Experienced Teacher or Trainer within DEA, with a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD). The ability to motivate, communicate and interact with people at all levels, and to support learners with diverse needs. Excellent adaptability and organisational skills.
