We are currently recruiting for a Retrofit Site Manager to manage one area of a large retrofit project Casey are currently working on in Newton Heath, Greater Manchester.

The site consists of 312 homes split across 4 15-storey high-rise tower blocks and low-rise terraced properties.

Casey are carrying out decarbonisation works across all residential buildings to increase energy efficiency under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.

The scope of works includes extensive facade remediation, external wall insulation, cladding replacement, balcony alterations to create enclosed "winter gardens", roof works, and the integration of enhanced fire and smoke ventilation measures.

Who are we looking for?



We're looking for an experienced Retro-fit Site Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for managing the low-rise terraced property refurbishments. You will have a background in decarbonisation, specifically around EWI, cladding replacement and external facades.

You will play a critical role in ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest standards, within one of the most heavily regulated construction environments in the UK.

The role of a Retrofit Site Manager at Casey



Manage site teams and contractors to deliver high-quality work using the right resources and procedures.

Foster a positive site culture, encourage team development, and support collaborative working.

Ensure all required documentation is completed on time and attend relevant meetings.

Maintain health and safety plans, risk assessments, permits, and training records in line with legislation.

Ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and the public in line with company policies.

Take part in safety investigations and support ongoing improvements to health and safety standards.

Deliver work to specification and current drawings, managing site logistics and maintaining production targets.

Resolve delays or issues quickly, ensure quality is upheld, and lead the team with a 'Right First Time' mindset.

Keep clear communication with stakeholders and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and other resources to keep the project on programme.

Monitor and report weekly progress, manage documentation, and issue work programmes to subcontractors.

Maintain quality and budget targets by ensuring timely information flow and effective planning.

Support cost control and ensure financial decisions align with the project's commercial strategy.

Understand contract types and contribute to the project's overall financial performance.

What do you receive in return?



Salary

between 45,000 - 55,000 depending on experience

Car Allowance

of 4,000 per annum
