Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Retrofitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retrofitting existing systems and equipment to enhance performance, efficiency, and compliance with current standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assess existing systems and equipment to determine retrofitting needs. Execute retrofitting projects, ensuring all modifications meet safety and quality standards. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop effective retrofit solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of all retrofit activities and modifications made. Conduct testing and inspections post-retrofitting to ensure functionality and compliance. Provide technical support and training to staff on newly retrofitted systems. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in retrofit technologies.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in retrofitting or similar fields. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with colleagues and clients. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to retrofitting processes.
