Job Summary:

As a member of the Returns Centre team, you will co-ordinate the contracts return process - arrivals, invoicing and claims to closure in liaison with the Senior CSR and Workshop Manager. Ensure a high level of customer service is being delivered and in line with the standard process whilst working to Renault Used Trucks KPI\'s and budget expectations. Liaising with the customer to update any repair work, parts etc., estimated completion times and that all invoice / claim documents are complete and accurate. A strong financial awareness with a detailed understanding of the impact on profitability of elements of the re sale of the Used Vehicles.

In Particular:

  • To assist the Workshop Manager and Supervisors in the co-ordination and arrangement of vehicle workshop bookings for inspections, servicing and repairs for the planning and resource requirements.
  • Assist the CSR / Shift Supervisors as required ensuring job specification, codification and quoting preparation tasks are completed on a timely basis.
  • Liaise with the CSRs to ensure that all quotations & end of Contract defects are sent in all cases, followed up, and agreement obtained in a timely manner to ensure prompt invoicing of works as required
  • To contact Used Sales/Renault/Owner of any additional work required with costs and issue accurate quotations to gain the necessary authority to complete the work.
  • Report operational issues / discrepancies to ensure follow up actions are taken to rectify.
  • Ensure Returns Centre WIP is under control and adheres to the set KPI
  • Maintain and Report on Used Vehicle park data.
Required knowledge & experience:
  • Substantial exposure and a successful track record in Aftersales in the Truck industry.
  • Familiarisation of book times.
  • To understand relevant systems relating to the Service Department including changes and on-going developments.
  • A strong financial awareness with a detailed understanding of the impact on profitability of elements of the used sales mix
  • Ability to analyse statistical information, draw conclusions and recommend solutions/actions.
  • Proactive approach towards customer focused initiatives and activities, which anticipate and meet customer needs but are commercially viable.
  • Knowledge of workshop KPIs.
