Re-Use Shop Assistant

Job Purpose:

As a Re-Use Shop Assistant, you will experience retail in a completely new and meaningful way. Every day, you will play a vital role in rescuing, re-purposing, and re-valuing items that would otherwise be destroyed. By accepting donations, preparing them for sale, and delivering excellent customer service, you will provide an essential service to the local community.

Most importantly, you will know that everything you do contributes directly to raising funds for charity - making each day both fulfilling and rewarding.

Permanent | Friday-Sunday | Mochdre (Wales

21 hrs/week | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

12.40/hour (Paid weekly - your wallet will love that!)

What you NEED to bring to the table:

Experience working in a customer facing role

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent

Flexibility to work overtime, as required

Physically able to carry out warehouse-based duties, including manual handling

Bonus Points if you've got:

Knowledge of second-hand goods, upcycling, or re-use practices

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of customers and colleagues

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
