Reporting into the Finance Manager - Reporting & Transformation, the successful candidate shall be mainly responsible for Revenue and Cost of sale reporting, monthly reconciliations, analysis of Revenue KPIs, margins, trends and support the Revenue transformation team. The core aspects of the role include:

  • Owner of the Revenue and Cost of sales reporting along with the support of an Assistant Management Accountant.
  • Working collaboratively with the Strategic Finance team on all revenue and COS related lines of the P&L.
  • Oversee the calculation and posting of Revenue and COS month end journals including accruals
  • Ensuring the integrity of all Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting.
  • Reviewing financial systems and processes in order to identify improvements in those processes for more effective Financial Control in all aspects of the business. This will include implementation of controls on the newly implemented finance system as well as manual controls in the finance team and the wider business.
  • Able to drive analysis of key Revenue and COS KPIs, margins, trends by having a good working knowledge and understanding of Looker ( BI and data analytics tool) and how to run reports and work collaboratively with the Insights/ Analytics team.
  • Overseeing the revenue bank accounts and reconciliation to the various revenue streams.
  • Working with the Etsy tax team on indirect tax in different jurisdictions like MFT, VAT,IOSS, GST.
  • Support the Internal Audit team on SOX related items.
  • Support the Year End Audit Revenue and COS requirements
  • Preparation of the SEC Analytics and quarterly review.
  • Assist in Finance and Transformation ad-hoc projects as required.


Qualifications

  • You will be a qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Results-oriented approach, with the ability and to make independent decisions with a solutions-driven approach
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change, a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
  • Able to demonstrate proven ability to improve and streamline finance processes
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, able to work in an agile manner and prioritise an ongoing list of tasks
  • Excellent eye for detail and organisational skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to constantly review and improve processes
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.

Bonus:
  • Experience and understanding of Marketplace KPIs
  • Experience with Workday,Planful is desirable
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Experience in Looker or other BI tools.
