Job Description



General Summary:



The Revenue Senior Accountant II concentrates on accounting for the Company's product revenues including certain gross to net liabilities and accounts receivable. In addition to month end close responsibilities, the Revenue Senior Accountant II will work closely with our trade distribution team and third party vendors to monitor and report on accounts receivable and other customer support items. The role will also participate in project work including automation and data analytics initiatives.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:



Accounts for product revenue and gross to net accruals for product revenues, including the monthly preparation of estimates and analyses, journal entries and account reconciliations Support forecast to actual analyses for related accounts, working with accounting, finance and the commercial business Monitors and reviews accounts receivable and credit limit controls partnering with third party processers and internal stakeholders Supports data processing accuracy and issue resolution with both third party processors and internal and external customers on as needed basis Actively participates in the revenue accounting processes and projects- working with Revenue team senior management to improve data analytics, processes and system reporting Collaborates with key contacts in commercial organization including trade distribution and government pricing Prepares SOX documentation and testing for relevant areas Provides data for external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits.

Knowledge and Skills:



Microsoft Office Suite Experience Experience with Oracle Financial Software a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail Ability to collaborate across and within different levels of the organization Master's Degree and CPA, preferred

Education and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Typically requires 3 years of experience in an accounting environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience
