We have an exciting opportunity to join our Revenues and Benefits Customer Engagement Team here at Public Sector Partnership Services.
PSPS are recruiting Customer Engagement Advisors to join our Revenues and Benefits Team, based at our offices in Horncastle and Spalding.
The Revenues and Benefits Service is responsible for the professional and accurate billing and collection of monies due, and the processing of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support on behalf of our client councils. In an evolving work environment, you will need to maintain a good understanding of legislation, guidance and local policy and be able to apply this in practice.
As part of the team, you will become an integral part of the front facing service we provide our customers across the wider PSPS geography encompassing Boston Borough, East Lindsey and South Holland residents - supporting with any queries relating to Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
We are looking for someone who is:
Understanding of the importance of a customer focussed role.
Enthusiastic and confident in decision making and clear in communication with others.
Able to deal sensitively with customers who may be vulnerable and / or emotional and situations that may be challenging,
Exceptionally well-organised, dependable and flexible,
Previous experience in a customer focussed environment is essential.
