Revit Technician
\xc2\xa320.80 p/h per hour (PAYE only)
Temporary: 6 months (with scope for extension)
Based in Watford
Hybrid working (2/3 split home/office)
Hybrid Working Role: Candidates will be required in the office full time during the training period and then they will be able to work hybrid when they are up to speed whilst coming into the office when required for meetings/projects

Role Summary
  • To support Store Design on creating block plans and fixture layouts for new and remodel company stores of any fascia, to an agreed programme. To minimise deviations from the agreed block plan and ensure all fixture layouts are in accordance with the principles of store design as published by Store Design.
  • To support Retail Designers on creating signage finishes drawings and full project set of drawings for Remodels and Trading Store Initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Produce Revit block plans, fixture layouts and signage schemes for new stores, remodels and TSI\'s across Europe, as allocated by the Retail Design Manager.
  • Support the Retail Designers on receipt of the Revit model of new/remodel stores and produce a fixture layout that meets merchandise capacity requirements and the brand identity needs.
  • Amend fixture and signage plans in accordance with Store Design agreed design and standards, on receipt of mark-ups.
  • Liaise closely with the Retail Designers to ensure drawings are to the high standards expected. Guidelines and principles must be adhered to as first principle for discussion with the project appointed Retail Designer.
  • Provide completed Revit merchandising capacity, fixture and signage schedules for each completed fixture layout.
  • Producing site specific presentation material for Store Design.
  • Attend approval meetings with the Retail Designers and stakeholders, record the changes agreed and provide amends in accordance with the Retail Designers Key Dates Planner.
  • Attend sites of special interest, which require further understanding of the architecture, in order to fulfil the drawing requirements of the project.
Key Skills, knowledge & Experience
  • Expert knowledge of Autodesk REVIT and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Expert knowledge of 3-D modelling in Autodesk REVIT and/or similar.
  • Experience and understanding of Retail Design.
  • An appreciation of the shopping traits of retail customers, common fixture design and visual merchandising principles.
  • Able to visualise store design in 3D to appreciate the use of signage and merchandising
