Reward Advisor

We are searching for an experienced Reward Advisor

An opportunity has arisen for a Reward Advisor to join us to provide support to the wider Reward team in the management, analysis and administration of all reward activity work within a large professional services firm.

Key responsibilities:

Your role as a Reward Advisor will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Reward Impact expertise: You will serve as a dedicated expert, offering specialised guidance on various initiatives with a direct influence on our reward framework

End-to end Reward project support: Participate in the complete lifecycle of reward projects, from ideation and development to seamless implementation and successful delivery

Advice and policy influence: Provide insightful expertise and counsel to the broader People function and senior management, acting as an escalation focal point for all reward related issues

Job evaluation expertise: Leverage your expertise in WTW methodology (and preferably McLagan knowledge) to support on job evaluation and the creation of pay bandings from benchmarking

Data-Driven Insight: Conduct in-depth analysis of pay, reward, and benefit data, providing regular reports that inform and steer reward decisions and recommendations.

Total Reward insight: Embrace an outward-looking stance on total rewards, surveying the competitive landscape to secure our firm\'s positioning and future resilience. Generate forward-thinking recommendations for transformative change and continuous enhancement.

Benefits Management: support the Reward team with the annual core and voluntary benefits, driving the management of renewals, as well as crafting effective communication strategies.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external third-party suppliers to continue to cultivate strong relationships and deliver an optimal reward offering. This includes working in conjunction with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Payroll, and the broader People team function.

Candidate requirements:

  • In order to excel in this role, you will need to bring:
  • Previous experience within a Reward Advisor or similar role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills enabling you to adeptly manage and manipulate large data sets for actionable insights. Excellent excel skills are essential for this role.
  • Sound UK employment law and technical legal knowledge of pay, benefits and pensions
  • Ability to interact confidently with HR Business Partners and the wider People team.
Please note: Flexible working will be considered and hybrid working is actively encouraged. Ideally, you are within a commutable distance of the Birmingham office regularly. However, this is not mandatory.LI-JD1PleP
