Rework Team LeaderAbout the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Rework Team Leader to join our dynamic warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in rework processes, warehouse management, and team leadership. This role requires proficiency in operating forklifts and a deep understanding of warehouse operations and rework procedures.Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of rework specialists
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and workload
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members
  • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Implement and maintain a positive work culture that promotes efficiency and quality
  • Rework Process Management:
  • Oversee and coordinate all rework activities within the warehouse
  • Develop and implement efficient rework procedures and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for reworked products
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction in rework operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline rework processes and minimize product defects
  • Monitor and analyze rework metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Warehouse Management:
  • Assist in overall warehouse management and operations
  • Ensure proper inventory management and stock control for rework materials
  • Coordinate with other warehouse teams to optimize space utilization and workflow
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures in the rework area
  • Participate in warehouse planning and layout optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product flow
  • Forklift Operation:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and products within the warehouse
  • Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of forklift equipment
  • Train and supervise team members on safe forklift operation
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift use
  • Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures for reworked products
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues in reworked products
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to improve overall product quality
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on rework activities, productivity, and quality metrics
  • Maintain accurate records of rework processes
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotatingWhat We Offer :

32 days holiday including Bank Holidays, increasing to 34 days after 3 years of service
