IQHQ are a growing high-tech start-up in the military radio communications market. The company researches, develops, designs and manufactures state-of-the-art radio communications systems for the UK and NATO armed forces. IQHQ have a vacancy for a RF Systems Engineer. The role is an opportunity to work with a world class team of military radio engineers, based in Malvern UK.

Responsibilities

Technical assistance with bid and proposal writing, including researching and developing new radio component concepts and systems. Assistance with writing final reports, trials plans, system design specifications, interface control documentation and similar engineering specifications. Design and development of RF circuits, receivers, power supply circuits and subsystem for radio communication systems. Meetings with customers to help derive and define new customer requirements Provide technical support to the trials team, and on some occasions assist and attend field trials. Supporting the company's Production Unit with faults in the radio systems, and with troubleshooting. Assistance with the design and development of the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).

Experience

The role is suitable for a candidate with a degree(s) in electronic engineering, with background in digital signal processing (DSP), systems engineering, radio frequency (RF) engineering or communication systems. The candidate must also have a strong command of engineering report writing, and a strong command of Microsoft Office.

Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance, this is a mandatory requirement of the position. Clearances will be obtained by IQHQ on behalf of the employee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,122.55-50,000.00 per year
