Job Summary

AAA Healthcare Agency - based in Preston - we are seeking dedicated day & night Registered Nurses with valid NMC PIN Number to join our healthcare team.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the care & residential homes that we supply throughout Lancashire - ensuring the well-being of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment.

This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.

Duties

Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting significant findings to the healthcare team. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and preferences. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety. Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid nursing registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient assessment and care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently when required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
