Job Description

We are looking for an experience nurse who would join our team on permanent contract. Initially, we would need someone to be able to cover three nights (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) but in the future this will change and therefore, we need someone who is also comfortable to do days. For the right candidate and if you wish so, there will always be extra shifts available both on days and nights. We are a small team and every time when one of nurses goes on holidays we need someone to cover it therefore, there will be plenty of hours available.

As one of our Staff Nurses, you will be delivering the best nursing care possible to all our residents. You are compassionate, caring, innovative and well organized. You have a relevant Nursing qualification, a current and valid NMC registration and you have a right to work in UK. You also have a vast experience (at least 2 years) working with elderly preferable in the nursing home. As a Staff nurse you will lead your care team and be looking after residents together with them. You will also be responsible for reviewing care plans.

Your key responsibilities would be:

- Providing the best person centred care to all our residents and offering them a safe and caring environment at all times.

- Creating care plans and reviewing them monthly or when required

- Working in partnership and with professional attitude with all care staff and other employees at Oaklands

- Ensuring government guidance and home policies are followed at all times.

- Capable of work independently and at the same time able to make swift decisions
