Danesford Grange Care Home is a residential and nursing home sat in the idyllic town of Bridgnorth, which has recently undergone a modern extension providing 38 beds.

We are proud to be one of the few independently run care homes in the area, meaning we are lucky to be able to offer a more personal service to our residents and their families.

What we are looking for in a nurse:

Somebody who aims to provide a high standard of direct nursing care to service users, based on the assessment of care needs and in consultation with the service users, their relatives and the care team. Someone who assumes responsibility for the nursing services provided by the home (eg if appointed to a senior nursing role) Somebody who continuously evaluates the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of service users in consultation with the service users, their relatives and the care team and to effect change required to achieve planned goals. Administers and orders medicines as required by service users and the home policies and procedures. Liase with service users GP's and other healthcare professionals involved such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, community nurses, etc. Engages in nurse care planning and implementation of care plans at least on a monthly basis Follows the Gold Standards Framework in care homes and record on admission using the ABCDE coding. Work within the NMC codes of conduct and Scope of Practice and within the homes policies and procedures. Work closely with other members of the care team, ensuring that effective high quality care is given, to achieve planned goals. Provide support and professional supervision to care staff as appropriate.
We require a minimum of 5 years experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 20.00-23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week
