As part of our expansion, we are now looking to hire a RICS Surveyor who specializes in Level 2 and Level 3 surveys to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As a RICS Surveyor within our team, you will be responsible for carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 RICS Homebuyer Surveys, and providing expert advice to clients regarding the condition, structure, and potential risks associated with properties. You will be working closely with first time buyers, investors and home movers to ensure that each survey is conducted professionally, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys on residential properties.
Identify and report on issues related to property condition, structural integrity, and potential risks (e.g., damp, subsidence, etc.).
Provide clear and concise written reports with actionable advice for property buyers and owners.
Ensure that all surveys are compliant with RICS standards and regulations.
Advise clients on property maintenance, repairs, and other technical matters.
Collaborate with the wider team and support staff, to deliver excellent service to our clients.

Key Requirements:
MRICS or AssocRICS qualification (minimum). You must be a Chartered Surveyor or Associate Surveyor in good standing with RICS.
Experience in carrying out Level 2 (Homebuyer Reports) and Level 3 (Building Surveys), with a thorough understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of property condition assessment, building pathology, and construction techniques.
Excellent report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, accessible manner.
A client-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships and offer professional advice.
Full UK driving license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:
Experience working with digital surveying tools and MS Office
Familiarity with UK building regulations and health and safety requirements.
CPD-compliant and committed to ongoing professional development.
