Job Description

Exclusive yard with excellent facilities 30m x 72m indoor heated school, outdoor 80 x 40, BE cross country training course, monarch stables, and lovely irish horses. The successful applicant will be in charge of training 6 horses which will be kept as their own with the help of a groom. A high level all round rider with good flat work and jumping. Will be rewarded for working on own and using initiative. Horses schooled and produced to a high level in a kind manner with no pressure of time. Looking for someone who can be appreciated for bringing something extra special to the table. This is a yard specialising in training horses and riders. Must have a professional manner & presentation. Lots of opportunity to train with visiting instructors. Dedication to the welfare of the horse is very important we do not take short cuts. We take pride in doing things properly and to a high standard. Wage will be relevant to experience. Perhaps 6 hours a week instructing at our busy equestrian club. Requirements

Must be in a motivated frame of mind passionate about training whether your capabilities are that of the student or coach. The ability to fit in with our team but your focus will be on producing your horses to their full potential taking the time it takes. We are a team and it must be stated non of us here are frightened to get our hands dirty and we lead by example not by dictating. Non of us here are afraid to muck out and put the welfare of our horses first. Applicants should be riding fit as riding is the main focus of the job. Knowledge of being able to start a horse would be needed but not a main part of the job. Our priority is always good horsemanship so applicant must be keen to learn and widen horizons.
