We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team in Manchester on

6 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Risk and Compliance Officer (RCO) will be required to work with the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers to ensure all elements of professional standards and risk are integrated and managed within the legal services areas of the business.


The role offers exposure to a variety of compliance and risk work. You will have a hands on role in ensuring adherence to the relevant legal and regulatory requirements and that everyone provides the highest standard of service

Responsibilities:

Review ID3 checks, interpreting the results and providing appropriate guidance to the business Monitoring and dealing with queries logged in the compliance portal, providing advice as required Assisting in the management of the compliance monitoring programme, conducting periodic compliance audits Providing assistance to the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers and AML Manager as and when required

About You:

Highly organised with the ability to manage a workload Good attention to detail Use initiative and be pro-active IT skills to include Microsoft packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word A basic understanding of the SRA's Codes of Conduct and general compliance issues
