As a member of Verisk's Casualty Analytics Team, you will serve an important role in supporting our London-based clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a small but growing team where you will directly influence the ways we enable client success now and in the future. You will use your technical, analytical and project management skills to work with clients and prospective clients to enhance the value gained from their use of the Arium solution. Working in one of the most exciting and rapidly developing sectors of the insurance modeling industry will present significant learning and career development opportunities.
Troubleshoot client issues and answer client questions related to the Arium platform
Analyze data and model output in support of proof-of-concept and consultancy projects
Present to clients on portfolio insights derived from examining client data and model outputs
Act as a conduit for client feedback to support model and software development
Create and deliver training material for new product users
Demo Arium software to prospective clients
Continuously challenge and innovate upon processes currently in place to support our clients
This role is based in London with periodic travel required
Effective communicator, with ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with all levels of knowledge, and excellent relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a solid understanding of probability concepts
Knowledge and use of Python (preferred) or other programming language
Knowledge of catastrophe modeling concepts
Ability to solve problems creatively, utilize critical thinking skills, and work without close direction
Organized and detail-oriented
Understanding of casualty insurance coverages an advantage
Experience within the insurance industry experience in underwriting, ERM or catastrophe modeling roles would be a plus.
