About the role
Lead and manage third-party onboarding processes for insurers, producing intermediaries, introducers and other counterparties.
Review, negotiate, and advise on Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs) across insurers and intermediaries--ensuring they align with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform comprehensive third-party due diligence including sanctions, PEP and credit checks; escalate red flags appropriately.
Ensure compliance with Client Money Rules.
Maintain good working knowledge of the Lloyd's market practices.
Provide hands-on administration using insurance broking policy administration systems to onboard and configure third parties accurately.
Serve as the internal subject-matter expert: respond to queries, advise colleagues across teams, and ensure consistent application of onboarding and DD protocols.
Aid in drafting and refining onboarding and due diligence policies and procedures, incorporating changes in regulation and best practices.
Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on TOBAs, onboarding standards, Client Money requirements, and relevant systems.

About You
Significant experience in third-party due diligence, onboarding, or risk management within insurance/insurance broking
Familiarity with the Lloyd's insurance market and broking environment--including insurer relationships, market conventions, and typical system tools (BAR, ATLAS, CRYSTAL, etc.)
Proven ability to understand, review, and advise on TOBAs (Terms of Business Agreements) with insurers and brokers.
Solid understanding of Client Money rules and associated regulatory compliance--and experience applying these in an insurance broking context.
Hands-on experience using policy administration or broking systems, and comfortable configuring third-party entities and relevant data.
Competent in running robust due diligence checks: sanctions, credit, PEP, adverse media, etc.--and interpreting outcomes accurately.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to spot and assess risk.
Trusted advisor: you show strong interpersonal communication, can articulate complex concepts logically, and influence across teams.
Experience contributing to policy development, procedural improvements, and potentially guiding more junior colleagues--though without direct line-management responsibilities.
Proactive, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
