The role
As a Risk Manager, you'll be at the heart of one of the UK's most complex and critical infrastructure programmes. Your expertise will help us identify, assess and mitigate risks across major project delivery phases, ensuring success for both our business and national security. Day-to-day, you'll:
Develop, implement and maintain the Project Risk and Opportunity Register
Coordinate monthly risk and opportunity reviews with Project teams
Generate risk reports and statistics for senior stakeholders
Support mitigation planning and monitor progress
Contribute to period-end reporting and project governance
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the office/onsite and 1 day working from home.
Essential experience of the Risk Manager
Proven experience in project risk management within the construction industry
Skilled in risk management software such as RiskHive, Safran, or similar
Knowledge of Quantitative Risk Analysis (SRA/CRA) and/or NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
Strong communication skills with senior internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications for the Risk Manager
Degree in risk, project management, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
