R&R Civils & Utilities Ltd are looking to recruit experienced civils operatives to provide support to a key client within the water sector (repairs & maintenance), general job details include:
Start Date: 26/01/2026 onwards
Rates (Subcontract/Self Employed)
Duration: Temporary or Permanent (minimum 12 months available)
Working Hours: 7.00am-5.00pm
Annual bonuses
Production bonus on number of jobs completed (weekly)
Overtime available
Weekend working available
Call Out available
Key Accountabilities:
Carry out general civils work and various tasks relative to the water sector, as directed by the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor, including but not limited to:
Installation/Repair of mains pipes (bursts)
Installation/Repair of water supply pipes, stop taps, fire hydrants, valves
Installation/Repair of chambers/tobys/boundary boxes
Hand digging & machine digging
Setting up site safely and efficiently
Compiling site documentation using electronic tablet
Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
Work independently as well as part of a team
Liaison with customers
General responsibilities:

Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years civils experience - Preferred
Clean Water - Preferred
A valid UK driving licence - Essential
In date CSCS card - Essential
CPCS/NPORS (360 below 10 tonne, above 10 tonne advantageous) - Essential
NRASWA Streetworks - Essential
First Aid
Cat & Genny
Manual Handling
