WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Position Purpose





RMMV UK are contracted to provide support to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) Support Vehicle (SV) fleet totalling in excess of 7500 platforms.



The cross-functional team at RMMV-UK have a close relationship with our Ministry of Defence customer as well as the Army and our many suppliers. We provide engineering solutions & support, supply of spare parts, repair solutions at vehicle and component level for the MoD.



The purpose of this role is to introduce a graduate with a higher-level education to rotate around the various business functions to become future leaders and managers within the team...



We are searching for driven, enthusiastic graduates to join our team.



The graduate's responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes, completing tests and assignments, as well as delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders. You should be well organised, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.

As a graduate, you will rotate around the various functions within RMMV-UK to develop an all-round appreciation and understanding of the business. The structured rotation scheme is based upon both business & project needs and the graduates career goal and aspirations - aligned to a personal development plan.

Functional Training





The business will provide each placement with a clear set of objectives for the graduate to meet and strive to achieve. Alongside this, each function will have a competency framework alongside the key behavioural indicators expected of in that function.


WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE


Key Competencies:



Ability to show a confident and professional approach when dealing with stakeholders. Ability to learn IT skills including MS word and excel. Quick to pick up new computerised IT systems Be able to demonstrate the ability to learn excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Be able to demonstrate an articulate telephone manner and have very good written English skills

Communication:

Display the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish productive relationships with members of the team, as well as customers and suppliers.

Teamwork:

Have the ability to work collaboratively within the RMMV team. Works with integrity, honesty and respect for others.

Client Orientation:

Display exceptional listening skills and be quick to question in order to learn and understand the organisation's needs.

Strategic Thinking and Decisive Judgment:

Show great enthusiasm towards problem solving and use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

Experience & Educational Requirements:




Minimum of a 2:1 degree in high education: Business/Engineering/Relevant Degree



Desirable: Fluent in in written and oral English



IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Word and proven Excel skills would be advantageous



Be able to show some evidence of time management with good interpersonal skills Some previous work experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial WHAT WE OFFER YOU
