Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a supportive environment.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment. Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention and emotional support. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their dignity is upheld throughout the treatment process.

Skills

Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
