Overview

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment. Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention and counseling. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of patient care services. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Skills

Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to identify mental health issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Empathy and compassion for individuals facing mental health challenges.
