Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs, reporting any changes to the medical team promptly. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Uphold infection control standards and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient care. Excellent skills in medication administration with an understanding of pharmacology. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
