Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of our patients through direct care and support.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical examinations and medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to changes in their condition. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all care provided and observations made. Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to medication administration. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills to support patients emotionally as well as physically. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the healthcare facility.
