We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our nursing team to undertake and manage direct care to patients with a variety of mental illnesses.

Responsibilities

To administer medication, ensuring that correct administration policies are adhered to. To take charge in the absence of the manager. To actively promote the development of good care practices within the Village. To assist in the development of individual care plans, promoting independence for each client within the village environment. To ensure that care plans are adhered too, are regularly updated, and that individual care reports are written correctly each day. To promote a good working relationship between staff and with outside agencies. To promote a team approach, utilising the skills of each staff member to the full.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be organised with a proven track record of managing a systematic approach to care plans and the management of risk.

The candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain the highest levels of quality care and professionalism possible.

This role would suit a newly qualified nurse who has already completed a preceptorship programme.

You must have a current NMC PIN and ideally some experience with severe and enduring mental illness.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.

Pay: 21.10-22.10 per hour
