Job Title: Roads and Sewers Gangs - Snettisham (Start Date: 2nd June)

Location: Snettisham Norfolk

Job Type: Contract (Approx. 5 Months)

Start Date: 2nd Monday June 2025

Pay Rate: Competitive - negotiable based on experience

We are currently looking for experienced Roads and Sewers Gangs to join a large-scale residential infrastructure project in Hunstanton. This is an excellent opportunity for gangs with a solid background in groundworks and deep drainage to secure long-term work on a well-managed site.

Job Responsibilities:

Installation of deep and shallow drainage systems Construction and benching of manholes and inspection chambers Laying of foul and stormwater pipes (including clay, concrete, and plastic) Trenching, backfilling, and compaction works Kerb laying, edgings, and associated road preparation Final formation of roads to base and topcoat levels Reading and working from site drawings and levels Ensuring all works are carried out safely and to specification Requirements: Proven experience working as part of a roads and sewers gang Minimum of 2-3 operatives per gang (ideally with an experienced groundworks foreman or lead operative) Valid CSCS cards for all operatives (CPCS/NPORS for plant ops if applicable) Deep drainage and confined space experience highly desirable Street works or EUSR cards are an advantage Own transport and tools are preferred but not essential Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work to deadlines
